Just DP's

Quite pleased with this quick little card. Stamping Vacations "Have you tried" challenge called for a card made only with designer papers. I have used my K&Co Blossomwood paper scraps, cutting the embelishments from the same paper. Wasn't sure if sentiment was allowed, but it is very discreet (by Anna Griffin) :D

Totally Romantic!!

Love using digi, but having a lovefest with rubber at the moment :D All the images (Except butterfly, Anna Griffin) are from a set by Carol Wilson, at least I think that's her name, She makes glorious wedding sets and scrapbook collections.
I printed around the scallops by placing my acrylic block on top of the card, then gently bending a narrow (clear) border stamp into place. I used the resulting semi-circle to stamp the matching central doily :D (impressed myself with that one!!)
The butterfly is stamped onto textured vellum(twice, cutting out wings to decoupage), and coloured white flowers with promarkers and copics.

Promarkers used; Cocktail pink + pastel pink
Copic markers; Blush
Ink pads; Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick(yes, AGAIN) with chocolate Impress ink to highlight edges.

I am entering this card for the following Challenges;

Warm Winter Wishes!

This weeks challenge from the Glitterbabe is "Anyhting goes with a Glitterbabe image!" . I've combined 2 Glitterbabe images for this card, using "Winter Home" for the background image and "Cardinal Bird" in the foreground.

The base card is embossed with Docrafts Papermania "A Silent Night" embossing folder, and the images coloured with promarkers; Cardinal red, Cocoa, Pear Green and Terracotta. Highlighted with Diamond and Candy Cane Stickles :D XXX

All White!!

This card is for 2 challenges again :D Digital Tuesdays#93 and Tiddly Inks#33 , who both asked for "All White" (though they are allowing you to colour the main image if you wish).

I decided not to have a coloured image, but to use the "Key Paper" digi image from Tiddly Inks on acetate for the background. The sentiment I made myself using Tiddly Inks "key", adding my own text. The butterfly is a silver peel off on white embossed vellum, and the rose frill was a gift :D I'm really quite pleased with the overall effect.
I'd also like to point you in the direction of a very worthy fundraising event"Help for Katie" being held by Jak Heath. I know money is always short this time of year, but £15.00 (that I was going to spend on inks) didn't seem to much to ask, and Jak and many other designers have put together a little thankyou package for any one who donates(well more than £15.00 worth!!!). So if you haven't decided what your "crafty Spends" are going on this week, why not check it out?
Thank you for looking :D XXX

Girly enough for you?

A card just for 2 challenges today, using 2 more Gliterbabe's Art images :D

I don't often do "girly pink", so i thought I'd give it a go :)
The base card is stamped with a 3Birds swirly in Peeled paint and Worn Lipstick from Tim Holtz.
The images and edges are coloured with promarkers; Ivory/Blush/Tan/Cocoa/Cocktail pink and Pear green.
Sparkle added with a Sakura Sparkle pen.

Vintage Silhouette

Another card for a few more challenges :D
The layout is the Sketch for this weeks Glitterbabe Challenge
The stamped image is from Dovecrafts Fairies collection, the embossed snowflake layer is made with Docrafts Papermania "A silent night" folder (are Dovecraft and Docrafts the same company now???), and the oval brooch is made with my Joanna Sheen "Sparkly Brooches" stamp set :D I glazed the centre of the brooch with coloured lacquer. A few Anita's peel offs and my 1st Christmas card of 2011 done!

Colours of Love!

I have used images from 2 designers for todays card. The 1st is "LILITH" from Tickled Pink Stamps, and the 2nd is "Scroll+ Heart" from Glitterbabe.(I added the sentiment myself)

I stamped the base card, and around the central mat with stamps from 3Birds. The red polka dot paper was a gift from a friend, and the embossed layer is a piece of card from an old sissix matting block which I embossed with "Vine#1" folder from Indentz.
The pink ink is "Worn Lipstick" from Tim Holtz, and the image is coloured with promarkers;
Dusky pink,
Antique pink,
Cocktail pink,
Blush,
Tan,
Cardinal Red and Pear green.

Free to Craft !

Much as I love my family, I'm glad they're back at school :D Now I can get back to entering some challenges.
During the hols I was lucky enough to win 2 prizes. The 1st was 2 decoupage sheets from Crafty Purple Frog, and the 2nd $50.00 to spend at Stamp It Crazy!! When my parcel arrives from Stamp it Crazy I will post a photo (can't wait :D)
But I have used 1 of my prizes from Crafty Purple Frog to make this card. She is called Green Dragonfly. The sheet has 7 layers of decoupage, so I split them to make 2 separate pieces. I used the one without the base image for this card.

The floral frame was just blue and white(Dawn Bibby Fairies collection bought 6 years ago), so I coloured the flowers with a soft purple to match it up with the base card(from the same collection)
I am entering it for the following challenges;
Crafty Purple Frog# Something New(the decoupage image)
Cute Card Thursday#146 "Out with the Old"(patterned base card & floral frame)
Enjoy :D XXX

Happy NEW Year !!!

Firstly this week, I would like to thank every one who took time over this busy holiday period to join the Creative Cowgirls in our hop and Christmas/winter challenge.
The 1st challenge for the 2011 is "Something New", shouldn't be too difficult to use something from all the goodies Santa brought you :D
I've used this gorgeous image from Pollycraft, who are sponsoring us this challenge, called "Cherry Kisses- Lil Miss Attitude". The name gave me my theme and colour combi. The second "new" thing about my card is the style, never made a stepper card before(a lot easier than I'd thought :D ). The
other "new" thing I used, was my latest sets of Promarkers, Autumn and Winter, to colour the flowers and image.

The winner will recieve a £10.00 voucher

for Pollycrafts store and a winners badge, and the Top 3 will get to post a "Top 3" badge on their blog.
Don't forget to check out the challenge blog again tomorrow, when I will be posting the names of the Hop, Challenge Top 3 and the Candy Winners!!! :D XXX
I am entering this card for;
Stamping Vacation Pick3 Challenge (Red paper/punch/glitter)
