Precious things...

First today I would like to share a piece of Mail Art I received last week from Julia aka Pan's Daughter .
She won my giveaway, and I sent her my Pink Flamingo desk faerie, so she sent me this beautiful shrink plastic Goddess attached to a hand painted postcard.
Thank you Julia...she is fabulous :D
next....my poor ill-treated pooch Meg.
Hubby is working split-shifts at the moment, so he came home mid morning and asked if I'd like to go for a walk in the woods...WOULD I!!!! Haven't been out for a walk in ages. Meg doesn't do cars well, but I took her any way. She made it the 3 miles to the open woods without barfing on me yay! Then we walked...for 2 and a half hours...no one else around cos of the rubbish weather, just birds singing...it was heavenly :D
When we got home Poor Meg couldn't even be bothered to go to here blanket, she just curled up in the middle of the floor and slept for 3 hours lol...I keep forgetting she is an old lady of 12 :)

And now my Heart #4 of 31 Hearts for July
For my hubby, my dog, my kids, my friends and my earth :D
Enjoy :D XXX

  1. That goddess is wonderful-lucky you!
A lovely walk in the woods too - your pooch looks about as ill-treated as ours! lol I keep forgetting that Max is now 10 and doesn't have the stamina...he still loves his walks but, like Meg, takes longer to recover...just like me really...lol!
    Today's heart is lovely.
    Hugs xx

  2. Wow, your heart is amazing, I love it. Poor Meg, hope she's fit again :) I love to walk (to jog) through the wood, nearly every two days, just to hold my weight :D

  3. :) My Coco is not a fan of cars either! I hope Meg recovers. I see you are still in the middle of your drought! Yay for walks in the woods, how romantic that sounds, and for happy mail.

  6. Hi, Gina! Thanks for visiting. I'm so happy the goddess made it across the pond in one piece. I knew she'd find a loving home if she made it :)
