It is wednesday isn't it? I loose track during the hols. Every one else comes and goes and I just fit in around them, so the days tend to meld into one :S
This is my entry for this months Journal Journey with Dawn
We had to work with a recipe of 1 photo(digi image) of a person/Dp's/Stamps(not a person) and glossy accents.
I started with a page in my small desk journal that already had paint wiped on it, which gave me a colour palette to work with...
glued on scraps of a dp from Crafter's companion Buttercup Fairy cd, a small piece of spiderweb dp (I think from Susan's Crafty Chaos), butterfly stamps from Kanban and little girl image from Dezinaworld Inchies collection(which I enlarged)
That gave a base page to journal on. I wrote "Wednesday's child is full of woe...BUT Wednesday's child will fear no foe!!!" around the photo...
..and added glossy accents to the small stamped butterflies and "HUMP DAY"
The writing along the top of the sloppy dp paper reads "It's all uphill to the weekend...until Wednesday!!!"
Why not have a go yourself. As a "wednesday child" I just have to have a go!
Enjoy :D XXX
I like it! Love the idea of using the pages you've wiped your brushes on...that colour palette is so warm. Cute image too.
