Memorable smells.

A Dash Of Sunny Prompt Nights set the theme
so I thought I would have a go.

 Scent of Death

I do not fear the scent of Death.
For me it is not rotting flesh.
Nor will it be sad dank decay
That fills my mind at end of day.
I will be drawn by perfumed flowers
To Summerlands and rose filled bowers,
Where bluebells dance between the trees
And honey wafts from buzzing bees.
My face forever a happy grin
As I savour the smell of sun-kissed skin.

I also wanted to make another paper doll project for
but my printer wouldn't work.
I is very driven when the muse is on, so I had to make my own pattern lol

I started by using another of Donna's face stamps
then cut out rough body parts from scrap paper.
Next I cut the pieces from stiffer card stock...
These pieces I decorated before fastening together with brads(split pins)
She turned out to be a bit of a wanton wench lol
 I added a few accessories ...
She has a book of death poems, a pointy hat, and Poe's Raven (smeared ink stamps) as a familiar.
Now she is off to join this weeks LOC Challenge #129 Witches :D

Enjoy :D XXX

  3. Oh, Gina, this is precious! I want to take the first line of your poem and hug it. Mostly because I feel the same way. I just love the words that come out of your head, and the visual art... well, those treasures are pure Gina: bright in their dark, unique, and tellers of tales.

    Love this! ♥♥♥
