Dreaming of a White Christmas

Yes it is starting to feel a lot like the "C"son to be jolly :D
This week at Crafting When We Can our
Sponsor is Lacy Sunshine
and our theme is

I got to play with the gorgeous "Lil Cassie's Snowflake"
I wanted to make her into a fancy topper,
but didn't have a big frame die, so I used one half of a fancy cut card
from my stash :D
I also printed onto cheap copy paper to make a mask...
as I was planning on doing a "resist" technique on the background.
Once I had heat embossed the snowflakes
I went over them with ink...
using the mask to protect the main image...
and rubbed off the excess to reveal the white card underneath.
It was then just a matter of colouring with my promarkers, and
layering her on to a base card(which I had used the same snowflake stamp on).
I added a little glitter to her skirt, scarf and snowflake
before using "snowflake" acetate to make a dome cover...
I totally want to play out in a snowstorm now lol
