Just another Work in Progress!

But then this one doesn't have an end date :)
Hubby decided we needed to get out more as a couple
so I decided we needed an "Adventure Journal"

I had bought this pair of wall calendars a while ago...
*to cut up for the fancy papers*
They are already collaged/layered, but single sided (obviously),
so I took one apart...trimmed the edges...
and glued the separate pages over the "dates" pages of
the second calendar :D
Except I was one page short as I used one to cover the back,
which meant I had to actually "collage" a page myself lol.
*Used pieces from my scrap box*
The calendars came with lots of lovely stickers and bits!!!
which I am using to decorate the pages...
and the front cover :D
I wanted to add a photo of Me and Him to the front
*this is the only one I have(shame on me), but it
looked a bit boring...
Needed a frame....
Cut out with 2 dies, black gessoed,
and "rusted" up using Sand texture gel and acrylic paints.
Looking much more impressive now...
and much more "Me" lol
Looking forward to adding our memories
Next stop "Glastonbury Tor"
Enjoy :D XXX

I would like to share this with the following challenges;
*yes  I'm on the DT, we just don't win any prizes lol*

Hope you have many happy adventures to record. Glastonbury definitely sounds like a great start - my kinda thing. Enjoy . Thanks for sharing this with us at A Vintage Journey x
