#168 Add some Texture

*using 1 image from "Annie All Occasions" set*

 2 of the easiest ways to add texture are to 

start with textured card stock( I used white hammered card)

and to have torn edges on your layers.

A light dusting of ink will accentuate the texture. 

The background landscape is another image from 

DigiStamp Boutique "Winter Border set"

 Deliberately "scribbling" when colouring (with your Promarkers) will also 

give a textured appearance...

 and glitter just gives that extra bit of "crunch" to

this frosty scene :D

Last year my 2 DT posts were on alternate weekends but

due to the Holiday breaks they now fall on consecutive days...

which just means I will be posting more

 random stuff for the following 2 weeks lol 

Anyhoo...the first challenge of the New Year from

Holiday sales...

and managed to get all 4 sets of Tattered Lace Torn Edge Dies

...for the price of 1!!!!

 I knew I wanted to make a "Spring" fresh card

so raided my scrap box for some lovely green papers

to match the Anna Griffin base card I had decided to use.

 I had bought the super cute

"Hopping Bunnies" image 

which is an Easter image but I feel could be used all year round :D

*I likes bunnies*

The addition of a few punched flowers gems and stickles 

and I have a very happy hoppy little card :D
