Not your thing? Then alter it!

All this "Poeness" got me thinking...
*dangerous thing thinking*
In the past I have collected/bought old sewing kits,
not because I liked the image printed, but to use
the threads....
which left me with bits of pre printed Aida
like this one

*it virtual told me what to stitch....P9-3 could read as  POE*
So I found an image and printed it out to use as a guide...
Stitching over a pre print is quite distracting...
so dear Mr Poe looks a bit "squiffy" at the
moment...
but the fun of "making up" your own pattern is
that you can keep altering it :D
Maybe I'll be done in time for his next anniversary lol

Finally....

I have finished the cross-stitch panel I've been working on
all winter.
To be fair I should have finished sooner, but I get
"SQUIRREL!!!"
if you know what I mean lol
I'm  rather quite pleased that I caught the feel of the original bouquet
and that I managed to salvage a few petals/rosebuds/lavender/leaves
to place in the little initialled bag.

Now for some doll making YAAY!
This doll will be "Not Alice"
I never made an Alice for my
because the story wasn't about Alice's adventures in their Wonderland
So Cora and her flock/family will have to wait
a little longer while I finish birthing
"Alicia NOT Alice"
*she's a bit of a rebel*

Enjoy :D XXX
