Winging it!

Sponsored by

 *using Water Fairy*

For a change I decided to just colour my image first
(I wanted to keep her pale and delicate)...
and then try and find papers to match...
I liked the way the stripes on this piece looked
like water dropping down...
so used a section for layering behind the
fussy cut image(along with a little coordinating mesh)
The base paper lent itself to a little glittering :D
I mean...what Daisy wouldn't enjoy a little glitter?

Enjoy :D XXX

Thanking You!

Time for a new challenge for a
new year over at
but first I would like to thank you for all the amazing entries to the
extended "Christmas" challenge...
they were beyond gorgeous and it took me ages to choose
the top 3.

*using "Flower Elf" from Fabrika Fantasy*

After all the grey/cold/snowy weather I NEEDED
something warm and bright (shame the light didn't
 agree with me)
the design papers are from my seemingly bottomless
stash...and the rich maroon is "flock"!!!
I used my trusty Promarkers to match her cute
little outfit with the ditsy floral paper*which is glittered*
and cut a sentiment with a Tattered Lace die.

Enjoy :D XXX

He said books are "literary" gold!!!!

 at
We got to choose our own image from
the glorious collection at

I chose "Wise Dragon"

I love the combination of Dragon and books,
and the little gnomes scurrying around seem to be
pointing out that the books are
"literary" not "literally" gold lol
I started by colouring the image with Chameleon pens,
glued it down onto a homemade spritzed background....
and then got carried away and forgot to take progress shots.
Items used:
The base card is from my Anna Griffin stash.
Large lacy circle Tonic verso die.
(backed with yellow glitter card)
Old border die (X-cut I think).
Bonsai tree die from Spellbinders
(as is fancy label die used to shape topper).
Blue fabric ribbon and sparkly twine from
Create and Craft.

This will make the perfect birthday card for my eldest
who loves books and Dragons lol.
