Those were the days!!!

Wasn't going to blog this card as it was made for our wedding anniversary earlier this week, but the image is just to cute not to share!!
She is called Rose Red, and is from the new Tiddly Inks range of Gothic Pin-Ups, and since HDH Mac Monday's challenge was "Gothic Pin-Ups" I just had to enter :)
I coloured her outfit as my fav outfit when I first met hubby(1982). My boot heels were stiletto, and I didn't have any tattoos yet, but the rest is pretty much spot on :D Those were the days....sigh!
Challenges I am entering are;
Cute Card Thursday#161 No Text (the writing is message inside)

In with the New

Today I decided to merge my 2 blogs into 1, so that I have time to enter more challenges. It's gardening season now, so I have less time for blogging.
This image is from the fabulous Christy Croll at Tiddly Inks, and is one of her Gothic Pin-up collection
The layout is inspired by Tracey O's dt card for this weeks Burtonesque Dolls Challenge, which is to be inspired by the dt's cards :D
I am entering this card for the following challenges;
Enjoy :D XXX

All White!!

This card is for 2 challenges again :D Digital Tuesdays#93 and Tiddly Inks#33 , who both asked for "All White" (though they are allowing you to colour the main image if you wish).

I decided not to have a coloured image, but to use the "Key Paper" digi image from Tiddly Inks on acetate for the background. The sentiment I made myself using Tiddly Inks "key", adding my own text. The butterfly is a silver peel off on white embossed vellum, and the rose frill was a gift :D I'm really quite pleased with the overall effect.
I'd also like to point you in the direction of a very worthy fundraising event"Help for Katie" being held by Jak Heath. I know money is always short this time of year, but £15.00 (that I was going to spend on inks) didn't seem to much to ask, and Jak and many other designers have put together a little thankyou package for any one who donates(well more than £15.00 worth!!!). So if you haven't decided what your "crafty Spends" are going on this week, why not check it out?
Thank you for looking :D XXX
