Pirate Party
Evening all! I've made this card for 2 more challenges, using todays Freebie from Pollycraft "Ethan the Pirate"
The 1st challenge is a sketch from Moving Along With The Times challenge#39
The 2nd is Prairie Fairy Fun Friday challenge week#12, which is to make an easel card (hence the blurry 2nd photo)
If you don't know how to make an easel card its a lot easier than it looks. Just take a square card, open it out, then fold the front in to the centre line and crease. This forms the basic card. Make a card front the same size as the original card, fold the easel shape up and stick the card front to it (only the bottom half) and then it should fold flat to fit in an envelope. Put a raised element on the base of the card to hold the upright section in place when open. I used a row of fish. This element only needs to be 1mm high, but its up to you what you use.
I hope that all makes sense enough for you to give it a try.
The backing papers and stickers are from Die Cuts With a View, vaccation collection.
Love as always Gina x x x
