Sorry if I haven't been commenting much this week, I've tried to get round any new challenge entrants, but can't remember who else I have or haven't visited since monday :( Got home tuesday evening to find hubby on floor in agony, with 11 year old trying to look after him!!!! Now hubby doesn't get sick (mostly just broken bones from sporting accidents) so I knew it was bad. Had to call ambulance to get him to hospital, and fortunately I have an amazing friend who dropped everything (9.30pm) to come and sit with Chunky Monkey while I went with hubby. At 5.15 am they still hadn't decided if it was Kidney stones or Apendix, so I had to leave him to let my friend go home to her own children. At around 11.00 am hubby passed a 5mm kidney stone!!!! and is now feeling a lot better(I hadn't slept from 6 am tuesday til 8.30pm wednesday). The hospital told him that this is the nearest a man comes to feeling what a woman goes through while giving birth, he says I'm amazing (didn't use drugs during labour, he took everything the would let him hahaha!) I'm making him work from home for the next couple of days, which means he'll need my computer, so if I don't get to you, remember I still love you :DXXX
Any way, back to the fun stuff!
Today is the start of Glitterbabes Challenge#2, which is a colour combi of Orange/Pink/Turquiose, not 3 colours I would use together normally, but that's why they are called Challenges right? Well this is what I came up with, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out :)
The image is called "Little Girl" from Glitterbabe's Art Shop, and I've glittered the spots on her hat n pinnifore, and the flower sprigs. I also glittered the back of the acetate butterflies(1 in each of the challenge colours) but I don't think it shows on the pic. The stamped sentiment is from Dovecraft by Kate Knight.
Remember, you don't have to use Glitterbabe's images, but she has some freebies if you would like to try them. Whatever else the challenge is, the bling is the thing ;D so enjoy. and I'll try to get to you all later.
Love as always Gina x x x
