Portrait 02 In my Father's eyes...

Today's portrait is one of my father, worked in graphite. Not totally pleased with the jaw area, but the eyes......they are so my dads eyes laughing back at me :D
or is he just pleased that I have managed to grow stuff this year already?
I was greeted this morning by a beautiful little blue iris(my dad had dark blue eyes...coincidence?)
Am really excited at trying new techniques(and improving graphite images) while taking part in Ayala's 29 faces challenge :D XXX
