Monochromatic Weather...

I missed last weeks challenge at LOC so I'm getting in early this time.
Their challenge is "Monochromatic" and as I've done nothing but complain about how grey our weather has been I thought I'd stick with it as my inspiration lol
Meet Gothic Hamlet, on a dark and stormy night :D
*Who I am also entering in the June Dream in Darkness challenge*

I started by colouring Hamlet with a pale grey...
and slowly building depth with gradually darker greys.
Until redefining the lines with the darkest grey.
 Now he needed a background.
I cut a rough window in a piece of hammer(horror)ed white cardstock...
and drew a few stone blocks around it.
Next the view of the weather...
a piece of black card put through a Sheena Douglas embossing folder, highlighted with white paint,
and we have a very stormy sky :D
I have to say I'm quite pleased with how this turned out :D
