LOC's challenge this week is "Bubbles"
and feeling the need for a little messy art this was a theme that I could enjoy playing with.
I got out my acrylic inks and splodges and smooshed onto
glossy card stock.
White acrylic paint through a circle stencil
makes a lovely bubble effect, as does printing with
bubble wrap.
I could see this little mer-creature...
outlined with black poska pen.
Next the "messy" stage...
adding blobs of paint in various colours to get texture.
Don't get scared at this stage...
You can pull back details once the paint is dry :D
I hand wrote the phrase
"See the magic in the little things"
with more paint pens to finish.
I like painting big but have neither the time nor the space at the moment so I appreciate
the little moments and pieces of tiny art I can do.
I am also adding this to Take a Word's Challenge "Circles"
Enjoy :D XXX
