Light in the Darkness...

This weeks prompt from
A Dash Of Sunny is

so I would like to share my reworking of an old classic

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Twinkle, twinkle little star...
or so the rhyme doth say,
How I wonder what you are...
so many lives away.

Up above the world so high...
you shine your blessed light,
Like a diamond in the sky...
throughout the darkest night.

Twinkle, twinkle little star...
your glimmer speaks of love,
How I wonder who you are...
Soul shining up above.

Blessed celebrations to all
:D XXX

  2. Science has put an end to childish dreaming as we realise we are alone for many millions of miles. Somehow we have to get ourselves out of any mess we make. It would be good to discover some evidence though of other civilisations.

    1. I had to give up childish dreaming when I was 7...I now invoke my right to a second childhood :D ...and Science can be even more magical when viewed through child-like eyes X

  3. I agree, Gina, science can be magical. I love the Hubble telescope pics that NASA posts on their Instagram feed. I love your reworking of the classic poem and it fits perfectly with your art piece. Wonderous!

  5. I'm pretty sure her name is Gina. Yep, I'm certain of it. She shines, shines, shine... in the dark and through the light.

  7. The collage and the poem both made me smile. I love the hopefulness that radiates from them both.
