Let it Poe!

I decided to mix 2 challenges for this card
I had a great digi image from TPS "Nevermore"
Poe has been an inspiration to me for many years now.
I thought he would look at home on a "tangled" background...
and decided to make my own.
I often struggle with black on white visually
but it wasn't til I posted these pics that I realised how bad it has gotten.
I genuinely thought all my lines had matched up lol
Oh well, maybe I should try working on a coloured background and see what happens.

Enjoy :D XXX

  1. Awesome tangling! I wish I'd seen your step by step pics before attempting my own effort. (Not that I could have done, at least not without a Time Machine and that's rather more Wells than Poe). Thanks for joining the Sisterhood for our Zentangle challenge

  2. Wow, great Zentangling and an excellent card! Thanks for playing along with us at SOSS, Jo x

  3. Live your mix of zentangle and inspiration, I think you brought them together beautifully xxx

  4. I love both the background and the finished item - fabulous!

  5. I think your Zentangle looks terrific! And I agree, a most suitable backdrop for EAP. Brilliant! Thanks for joining the fun at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

  6. Gina your background is perfect!!! Fantastic job!! Thanks for zentangling with the sisterhood of snarky stampers!

  7. I just love it when you let it Poe. ❤️

  8. I love your background and I love this card!!! Well done! Hugs!

  9. I think it looks cool... whaddya mean you struggled??? Poe does look good on this crazy background! Good thought!

  10. I totally didn't see where they didn't match up. I think you totally rocked it.. I struggle with the Zentangle and I love doing it. Thanks for (zen)tangling with the Sisterhood.

  11. Awesome job of the background. If you're happy and we're happy all is good. thanks for playing along with us at the Sisterhood .

  12. Hi Gina! Congrats on being crowned our Queen of Snark at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! I'm not sure if you saw that last week, so I'm just popping in to see if you are interested in being our guest designer for our next challenge. All the details are on the SOSS blog!!
