In February I won a bloghop prize over at
and obviously chose
"Where's the madness in that?" I hear you ask...
Well Leigh asked if I would like to make something
to be featured on her blog with my prize, and of
course I was honoured to....
but I had just started redecorating...which turned into
room swapping...which meant all my craft stuff was piled
in boxes and out of reach....til this week!!!
As soon as I could I was crafting lol
I had found this "book box" that was a UFO and
decided it was the perfect place to show off the wonderful
image..
Using Promarkers I added soft colors to
"age" the page...
torn tissue added colour and texture to the book
surface...
AND while rearranging I also found a
WHOLE PACK of Tim Holtz Grunge board
Harlequin Alphabets!!!!
Lost treasure indeed :D
So happy to be playing again that I forgot to take pics.
The letters I gessoed, inked then highlighted with marker...
re-whitened areas with posca paint pen...
and picked out features on the collage with Heavy Gel Medium
that dried to form a thick, raised glaze.
Hope you are enjoying your crafting.
I was certainly missing mine :D
