Dimension

Morning Bloggers! Sunshine here at the moment so smiles all round!
I've made this card for 2 challenges today;
1. DP2 challenge#24 , a sketch by Cathy
2. Cute Card Thursday challenge#105, who would like some "Dimension" in our project.
The image I've used is called "Monique" from Mo's Digital Pencil, and I've coloured her with Copic Cioa markers. To get some dimension I put the image through my cutlebug with a jigsaw die (after colouring, trust me it makes sense) then cut her out as normal. When fixing to base card I set the puzzle pieces at different levels, some flat, some on 1mm pads. I think you can see the effect. I have aslso decoupaged some of the small anenome flowers on the triple border, though they are harder to spot. The anenome papers are from Dot's Heirloom paper book, but I don't know if they are still available, which is a shame as they are quite unusual and replicate Dot's original embroidary work.
Went scrapbooking last night at Craftden, haven't been for ages! Really enjoyed myself and will show project later when I manage to get a good photo. Any hints greatfully recieved as 12x12 layouts seam quite tricky to capture properly.
love as always Gina x x x
