Yes I am still here!

Wow! No post since friday!!! And no actual crafting either, so today I have this project for you :D
At the weekend I went with my bestest friend to a craft fair. We met Nancy Watts and Nigel May from Create and Craft, and they really were as lovely in real life as they are on tv :D
My friend bought some of those little artist easel cards that are perfect for displaying small projects for photos, and she gave me one to play with......

I coloured the "canvas" with assorted Tim Holtz distress inks(I like to mix em up a bit), then stamped and embossed the gothic doorway(by Crafty Individuals CI 249) with Debbi Moore's Dark Brown powder. I also embossed and around the edges with Personal Impressions Verdi Gris powder.
Next I added more Tim Holtz Distress inks to age it up a bit.......

I bought these fabulous brass and gunmetal poppers/tacks/brad things at the fair....

some of which I have added to my piece, along with this superb image of "man in hat" from La Blanche, again aged using TH inks :D

    what's all of this talk about black toilet paper?

    i'm thinking this will not catch on - black toilet paper.

    I do like your card, and those little easels seem cute and handy.

    i'm just tired and quite distracted by your sidebar.
    what is this burtonesque doll challenge? i'll follow that and see.
