05 of 29 Faces for February

For portrait no5 I have tried "folk art Angel" style as I watched demonstrated by Annette's Art via Flutterbye ning

simple collage layer + white gesso, then drew image...
used watercolour paints to build layers of flesh tones...
used water colours, acrylics, brown pencil and black ball point pen to add background(the halo is shiny gold)
Enjoy :D XXX

  9. I love simple folk style angels and yours is a very lovely one, I like the tulips very very much indeed and would use those loads in many many collages...

  14. You may think I'm crazy but my comment doesn't appear and then I try to put it back in and then the original appears and I try to delete it and then they all disappear--I'm in computer h--- at the moment but this is to explain why I look schizophrenic-- sorry, please forgive! I will leave now! LOL

  15. I'm back--the compliment I was leaving has now been deleted too. And what I've been trying to say is that I love this gentle angelic presence and the effects you used to create it.
