First up today is a piece I have made for this weeks LOC challenge #89 "Inspired by a song".
I spent the day listening to Pink (love that girl....I would be proud to call her daughter), and chose a track called True Love *sorry about the adverts but enjoy the vid*
The journalling reads
"No one is entirely innocent." But he was there, and that seemed to make al the difference in the world.
I am also entering this image for August's Dream in Darkness challenge
Also this week I have been making another apron, this time from a pattern
Comes on good quality paper, and if anything, the instructions are a little too simple lol.
*yes I managed to sew the shoulder seems together wrong*
Just a little decoration to add, and some red top-stitching :D Again , I made this from 2 value bed sheets :D
Hope your all well and happy :D XXX
Love the painting. The eyes of the boy are dark and shocking...
ReplyDelete"...red top-stitching" makes everything perfect. It's the red. ;-D ♥♥♥
Nice apron! The picture is pretty, although sad!
ReplyDeleteI love your mixed media 'True Love' artwork. It can be exasperating when a sewing pattern is vague in the instructions, but the apron turned out fantastic!
ReplyDeleteToday is the coolest morning we have had in two months here in Central California. It is 70 degrees Farenheit at 9 A.M. It's been being 84 degrees at 7 A.M. quite intolerable! I will be happy when autumn arrives and we get some rain. On the upside, art project dry quickly when the weather is warm.
Have a lovely and enchanting day!

Like the eyes stitched shut. Apron looks like it could save many a pair of trou.
ReplyDeleteGreat creation. Just love Pink myself. Thankyou so much for sharing with us at the Left of Center Challenge. Good Luck. Genny DT
