Bird Bunting...

I have been tempted to make bunting for ages, but never seemed to get round to trying.

Challenge #84 from Quoth the Raven is "Material things" *with a touch of Poe*

and this is what I came up with :D

 I didn't want triangular bunting, so I made board templates the shape I did want and used them to cut my fabrics...

 I then used a Poe text stamp to break up the plain background layer...

 and stamped a Raven on the lightest layer.

 I stitched the raven onto the text layer and frayed the edges to neaten (can't really see on the photos).

Next I joined the back and front pieces, before attaching then all the ribbon tape.

Now that's my kind of bunting :D
