Has it Begun....

Today is the start of Magaly's Dark Poetry for the Cruellest Month
Her first prompt is "Has it begun to sprout?"
Which was wonderfully coincidental for the photo's I've been taking since the Spring Equinox :D

Has it begun to sprout?
The seed of an idea that was planted by an idle random thought...
Have the piles of fermenting manure, gathered from those throwing it,
 fed and aided it's germination?
Will it rise above the dirty vileness
to become glorious in it's blooming?
Has your soul begun to sprout?

Enjoy :D XXX

  1. "Piles of fermenting manure" gloriously rising "above the dirty vileness". I really love those words. Poetry sprouting in a stinky garden. Nature will have her say.

And I think that in your rebellion, you stayed with the heart of the prompt. I just knew it: you IS magic. :-D

  3. LOL, this is so much fun, and yet so very true. Good things can grow from the ickiest manure given time and patience.

  7. What a lovely take on the theme! Love the stages of the blooming sprout, it's fitting with nourishing seed of a random idea!

  8. I'm curious about who these "those" are who are throwing the manure. Makes me think of critics who try to keep good work down, only to inadvertently nourish it and empower it. Love this!
