A Gentle stroll through the past...

This weeks prompt from a Dash of Sunny is
This prompt gives me the chance to revisit both an old poem and an old image made from an even older photo of myself lol

This image is called "Where the Wisp leads..."

GENTLE  LIGHT

All in the night, while stars shine bright
and Moon hangs overhead,
Both young and old are safe and warm all wrapped up in their bed.

The creatures of the Night time stir,
 roused from their drowsy rest,
and slowly creeping, crawling, flying empty out their nest.

The Badgers grunt, the Owls screech,
their day is just begun.
Now is the time for young and old to rise and have some fun.

Not for them the blazing skies,
that make you sweat and hurt your eyes.
But rather they the Gentle Light
of ripe Full Moon on an Autumn night.

Enjoy :D XXX

  1. Moonlight does offer a gentle balance... a place where those of us, whose bodies' want to slow down just a bit (or a lot), can stroll in delight. This is yummy, Gina. ♥
