The Magic of the seasons...

Apologise for the "Card Bombing" lately,
but hubby and junior are both at home all day still so I am crafting
to chill lol.
This card I particularly enjoyed as it can(and will) be sent
"just because" :D

Fab N Funky are asking for "Fall Colours"
so I collected a selection of papers from my scrap box.

I don't heat emboss very often as the smell of the melting powder
bothers me, but I really wanted to use the copper powder from Inkadoo
with some leaf stamps to make a background...
Versa stampeded onto base card and sprinkled with powder,
then heated to get a lovely glossy contrast
before over stamping with the same stamps
 in soft, fading greens.
I have been dying to use this Foxy die from Spellbinders.
Totally enjoyed paper piecing and drawing on him :D
Then the perfect stamp sentiment just offered itself up...
It is from a Sheena Douglas christmas set, and
can truly be used for any time of year
"Believe in the Magic of the Season"
To finish I inked the white card blank
with Brushed corduroy from TH.
But Mr Fox looked like he was floating...
so I die cut some Ivy leaves(Tattered Lace),
and he looks much more cosy in his little den :D
Enjoy XXX

I would also like to enter this card for
Photobucket
