This month is the 12th challenge for Dawn's Journal Journey, and to celebrate a completed year she is having a giveaway. I'm sure you could all be inspired by a friendship, old or new, to create a journal page, so why not pop over and join in? You never know, you might even find a new friend there :D
Started page by scribbling words on it....
Friendship, Ships in the night, Night to remember, Remember the 5th of November, Forget me not.
Then covered page with acrylic paint...
and glued on some left over paper hearts I cut out earlier in the year.
I added an image of a lady deep in thought, and started to doodle...
and finished off by highlighting with sakura souffle pens
Oh...and there are only 8 days left to enter, so you best hurry :D
Enjoy :D XXX
Two fantastic pages... Wonderful white flowers and your hearts look great.
ReplyDeleteGosh it just amazes me how you do all these challenges!!! I could only wish.
ReplyDeleteI read your last post, about your new dolls , this morning when I was being a lazy bum in bed at my friends house after a late night out. I tried to reply but had forgotten to take my glasses so a bit late but I just wanted to let you know how much I love them. They make me smile, you have such a wicked way. I think you need to start selling these!!!
ManonX
Aw thanks Manon :D, but if I sold them I wouldn't have the pleasure of giving them away :D

ReplyDeleteGreat job, Gina! Love the color!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gina!
ReplyDeleteLove the spread! The colours and texture are to die for. And your lady is beautiful and looks like she's just meant for this page.
I've not got my head around doodling yet. I'm trying hard but I'm a perfectionist and can always see mistakes. Must try harder!!

I started of in "perfectionist" mode too Jill. Took me ages to free myself :D Get a big piece of plain paper, some cheap tubes of paint, and "fling"....no brushes, just fingers. It is very liberating :D
Deletewhat wonderful pages ;0) And thanks for the kind words on your post. Loving the negative & positive hearts, all your creative doodling is wonderful, thanks for joining in with Journal Journey's again this month ;0) Dawn xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic Gina! Love the color! Love everything about it! You are truly gifted my friend ;o)
ReplyDeleteI feel like I was at your art table watching you create because you do a great job of walking us through the steps you take to the finished page. Lovely blues! By the way I like your "kiss my butt" page...funny!
