I have already told you that I started making dolls because I never had one for long as a child...well...the other thing I always wanted was a dolls house.
Today my bestest friend in the world turned up on my doorstep with this!!!!
I trashed it..
and Hortense said "Hmmmm...."
A coat of gesso later and it looks a very promising little apartment.
Hortense raided my paper stash....
and we are now selecting "trims" while the paper dries!
(yes I did have to cut 3 12 x 12 sheets into strips so that the pattern on the back wall is correctly matched up)
Can feel a lacy kind of swaggishness coming on :D
As she rummaged around, I am sure I heard Hortense muttering something about a "Nativity" scene ???
Enjoy :D XXX
I will not share this with The Bloody Bride (yet). She might insist that she needs a home now!
ReplyDeleteAlways wanted one of those too! ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what the next instalment will bring
xoxo Sioux
Looks like Hortense has a lovely apartment to call home.
ReplyDeleteOh Gina that is fantastic, love the use of the papers!
ReplyDeletePretty! I never much cared for dolls, but yours look like handmade stories!
ReplyDeleteOh Ms. Gina....this is so wonderful. Ms. Baggs too was a little pushy about how to decorate her home when we found it. I'm sure you are having as much fun as I did with The Halloween House. Hortense will love her new digs when you get finished. Nativity huh???????????? I look forward to more to come. Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteNow "Doll Homes!" Im getting a fridge box and making a home for ME!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to see how eccentric you get decorating Hortense new Abby!
You amaze me ! xoxoDebi
